At present this award is presented to engineers in Public Works Department, He added. Er. Jayaprakash was addressing the 2nd Executive Committee meeting of Association of Engineers Kerala at Ernakulam. Constituting an Engineering Commission to study imbalances in the emoluments of Engineers who work for State & Central Governments, Updating the technical knowledge of Engineers with Government sponsored study-tour-abroad are need of the hour, he stressed.
