3rd November, Munnar : The 11th Executive committee meeting of Association of Engineers Kerala was victorious in many aspects. New district committee for Idukki district was formed. 16 engineers were enrolled as new members. Active discussion was predominant throughout the meeting on the forthcoming Sparkle 2012- the annual sports and cultural festival of Association of Engineers. A team of 14 engineers visited the Idamalayar Dam with the leader Er. D. Gopakumar, State President who was fortunate enough to discharge his engineering skills for the construction of the Dam in the early stages. The entire team unanimously appreciated the was in which the KSEB maintains the Dam, connected structures and neighboring places. The team specially thanked the KSEB Officials who made excellent arrangement for the walk-through and the depiction of the working of the Dam and power generating system.
