Good News & Bad News Dear all, Good News: For last three years we have been totally involved in construction of Rail over bridge at Paddnnakkad in NH 66, 1200 m long 27 spans of viaduct and balance embankment with RE wall, Rs, 42 Crores (in front of my residence). I am very happy to let you know that it was opened to public traffic on 17th this month by Hon. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. May be this is for the first time in Kerala such a big project gets completed in 3 years. It was a very colorful and overcrowded function with festival look. Eventually I too had a memento from our minister as a token of appreciation for my service in this project. (One photograph is attached) Bad news: It is regarding my health. Poets say kavilile kaakkapulli is a sign of beauty. It is a beauty spot But I never heard if there is kaakkapully in karal (liver), what does it indicate. Anyway in August when I felt sudden weight loss and slight discomfort in my abdomen, I went for a total medical checkup. After 2 days of investigations and scanning they found out some black spots in my liver and they diagnosed it as Multicentered Hepatoma. Later the diagnosis was confirmed with many doctors in and outside India. They all suggested the same drug as the prolonged treatment. And now I am at home suffering all the side effects of that strong (very costly) German drug that include severe loose motion, weakness, hypertension and most disturbing abdominal disorders. Now I got what does a kaakkapully in karal indicate. Sorry friends, for spoiling your mood by describing my own illness, anyway thank you.
