03/07/2013, Alappuzha: The icons of 44th Annual Sports & Cultural fest of Association of Engineers Kerala were released today in a grand function organised by the district centre. Alappuzha District Collector Sri. N Padmakumar IAS unveiled the logo of the event named "Ala 2013". Er. P K Satheesan, Chief Engineer, Roads & Bridges , PWD & Chaiman of Ala 2013 unveiled the Mascot of the event "Allu" the peacock. Er. K P Haranbabu, District President presided over the function. State President Er. P R Jayaprakash & General Secretary Er. C V Suresh Babu, Ala 2013 General Convener Er. Joseph scaria were on dias. Engineers retired from Alappuzha District were honored in the event. The event came to close with the vote of thanks by Er. Pantaleon K J, District Secretary.
